Electrical Supervisor

Position Scope

 Our client in the Manufacturing of Hygiene and Sanitary items located in Ruiru is looking to fill the  positions of a seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor The successful candidate will oversee the electrical operations within our production facility, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability in all electrical systems and processes.

Job Description

1. Supervision and Leadership:

   • Lead and manage the electrical team, including electricians and technicians.
   • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members.
   • Assign and monitor work to ensure timely completion.

2. Maintenance and Repair:

   • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime.
   • Ensure all systems operate efficiently and comply with industry standards.

3. Project Management:

   • Plan and execute electrical projects within the facility, including upgrades and new installations.
   • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth project integration.
   • Manage resources, timelines, and budgets effectively.

4. Compliance and Safety:

   • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and electrical regulations.
   • Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments of electrical systems.
   • Maintain compliance with local, national, and international electrical codes.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

   • Maintain accurate records of electrical work, inspections, and maintenance schedules.
   • Prepare reports on team performance, system reliability, and project progress.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
