Position Scope

We are seeking highly motivated, results-driven, and customer-focused Sales Representatives to join our team in the Nairobi region. The successful candidates will be responsible for promoting and selling our publishing products, expanding our customer base, and strengthening relationships with schools, educational institutions, bookshops, distributors, and other key clients within their assigned regions.

Job Description

  • Market and sell the company's products to schools, educational institutions, bookstores, distributors, and other clients.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Conduct product presentations and promotional activities.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Follow up on customer inquiries, orders, deliveries, and payments.
  • Gather market intelligence and provide feedback on customer needs and competitor activities.
  • Prepare and submit periodic sales reports.
  • Represent the company professionally at all times.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in sales and marketing.
  • Experience in educational, publishing, or related sales environments will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently
