Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Administrator to join our Human Resources team. The HR Administrator will handle a variety of administrative duties to support the HR department, ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing employee records, handling inquiries, and assisting with HR projects while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.

 

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Records Management
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
    • Update HR databases with new hire information, employee status changes, and other relevant data.
    • Process requests for employee records, documents, and verifications.
  • Recruitment Support
    • Assist with job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
    • Coordinate the onboarding process, including preparing offer letters, contracts, and welcome packets.
    • Facilitate orientation sessions and ensure new hires are set up with the necessary resources.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration
    • Gather and verify employee timesheets and attendance records for payroll processing.
    • Support the benefits enrollment process and manage changes to employee benefits.
    • Handle employee queries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies.
  • Policy Implementation and Compliance
    • Ensure adherence to company policies and support implementation of HR policies and procedures.
    • Maintain compliance with local labor laws and keep up-to-date with HR-related regulations.
    • Assist in creating and updating HR policies and documents as needed.
  • Employee Relations and Communication
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
    • Assist with organizing and implementing employee engagement and wellness programs.
    • Support grievance and disciplinary procedures under the supervision of the HR Manager.
  • HR Projects and Reporting
    • Assist with HR projects and initiatives to improve HR processes and employee experience.
    • Compile HR metrics and reports, including turnover, absenteeism, and other data as required.
    • Conduct research and contribute ideas for HR improvement initiatives.
  • General Administrative Support
    • Schedule and coordinate meetings, trainings, and HR-related events.
    • Prepare HR documentation, reports, and presentations as required.
    • Provide general administrative support to the HR team, maintaining efficient HR operations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Diploma or Chrp.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an HR administrative or similar role.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Familiarity with HRIS systems and payroll software is a plus.
