Position Scope

Job Title: Human Resource Manager

Salary: Gross Salary of KES 200,000

Role Overview:
The Human Resource Manager will oversee all HR functions, ensuring effective people management strategies that align with organizational goals. The role focuses on building a strong workplace culture, improving employee performance, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business objectives
  • Manage recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes
  • Oversee employee relations, addressing grievances and disciplinary issues
  • Design and implement performance management systems
  • Ensure compliance with Kenyan labor laws and internal policies
  • Manage payroll coordination, compensation, and benefits structures
  • Lead training and development programs to enhance staff skills
  • Maintain HR records, reports, and analytics for decision-making

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., IHRM, CIPD) preferred
  • Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in HR, preferably in hospitality or service industry
  • Strong knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
