JOB TITLE: Welder / Fitter / Fabricator
Location: Kikuyu Town
Salary: Gross Salary of KES 50,000.

Job Summary:
A growing engineering and metalworks company specializing in fabrication and structural works is seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter/Fabricator to join its team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing metal structures and components according to technical specifications.

Job Description

• Perform welding, fitting, and fabrication of metal components
• Interpret and work from technical drawings and blueprints
• Cut, shape, and assemble materials using appropriate tools and equipment
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
• Carry out repairs and maintenance on metal structures and equipment
• Ensure safety standards and procedures are followed at all times

Requirements

• Minimum of a Certificate or Diploma in Welding, Fabrication, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
• Trade Test certification (Grade III, II, or I) is an added advantage
• Relevant hands-on training or apprenticeship experience is highly preferred
• Proven experience in welding, fitting, and fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Skilled in using fabrication tools and welding equipment
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Relevant technical certification is an added advantage

Proficient in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Arc welding) Strong fabrication and metal fitting skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery High attention to detail and precision in workmanship Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and procedures Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
