Lower Primary Teacher

Position Scope

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lower Primary Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality instruction in line with the CBC curriculum and supporting the holistic development of learners

Job Description

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the CBC curriculum
• Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments
• Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor and evaluate learners’ academic and social progress
• Maintain classroom discipline and encourage positive behavior
• Prepare and utilize appropriate teaching and learning resources
• Communicate effectively with parents and school administration

• Participate in co-curricular and school activities

Requirements

• Diploma in ECDE or P1 Certificate (mandatory)
• Must be TSC registered (mandatory)
• Experience in teaching Lower Primary is an added advantage
• Good understanding of the CBC curriculum

• Strong classroom management skills
