Job Title: Field Sales Executive – Construction Materials
Location: Kikuyu
Salary: KES 70,000 – 100,000 Gross
· Identify and visit potential customers: builders, contractors, developers, infrastructure firms, and government project authorities.
· Generate leads through cold calling, site visits, referrals, and market mapping of active construction zones.
· Present and sell products: ready-mix concrete, aggregates, blocks, cement, steel, or real estate units (as per business line).
· Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules directly on site.
· Build and maintain long-term relationships with project managers, site engineers, and purchase heads.
· Conduct regular site visits to monitor product usage, resolve complaints, and ensure repeat orders.
· Collect feedback on product quality and competitor activity in the field.
· Achieve monthly/quarterly sales volume and revenue targets.
· Prepare daily visit reports, lead trackers, and order forecasts using CRM or mobile app.
· Coordinate with logistics/dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery at project sites.
· Follow up on outstanding payments and assist in debt collection from clients.
· Track competitor pricing, new projects, and material specifications in assigned territory.
· Identify upcoming construction tenders and pre-bid opportunities.
· Minimum 3+ years in field sales of concrete / RMC / construction materials / real estate
· Valid driving license + minimum 3 years active driving experience
· Diploma; Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing preferred
