Position Scope

Job Title: Workshop Supervisor
Location: Nakuru, Kenya
Salary: Gross 0f KES 50,000

Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

1.Attend the customers on First Come First Served basis

2. Listen to customer complaints & note down in the Job card

3. Explain the customer time & cost estimate for Labor, Oil, Spares and Outside labor

4. Explain the mechanic customer complaints, jobs to be done, delivery time, cost estimate

5. Inform the customer in case of delay / cost exceeds

6. Take Road trial of the vehicle to confirm elimination of complaints

7. Ensure vehicle is delivered neat & clean

8. Explain the customer work done on the vehicle and actual cost details/future jobs any

9. Return the replaced parts (except warranty parts) in original packing to Customers

10. Explain about next service due date and paste next service due sticker

11. Ensure proper housekeeping in entire service shop

12. Ensure all tools and equipment’s are in working condition and maintenance of equipment’s

13. Ensure mechanics carry out mandatory jobs in all vehicles

14. Checking the parts replacement and warranty replacement authorization wherever required

15. Co-ordination with parts shops for getting parts from other branches/ dealers

16. Preparation of workshop daily report

17. SAP job card entry

18. DMS job card entry and Improvements

19. Monitoring of Vehicle inflow - Product wise and Service wise against the plan (Free / Coupon paid / Post warranty)

20. Tools & Equipment’s availability Vs. requirement, purchase

21. Review of repeat jobs & Quality Feedback from customers

22. Tracking of Pending/Accident vehicles - reasons for pending, arranging parts,

23. Technical support to Dealers

24. Tracking of mechanic wise Productivity and actions for improvement

25. Warranty Monitor and Co Ordination with National service team

26. Submission of all service reports timely to National service team

Requirements

Qualifications 

1.  Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

2.  Knowledge in basic computer packages (Especially MS Excel and MS Word)

3. At least two years working experience in the same/related position.

4.  Must possess good communication skills.

5.  Must be of good conduct and integrity.

6. Must be willing and able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.

7.  Must have better understanding of both TVS Bikes, Piaggio and Briggs service and repair.

8.  Must have a valid driving license
