Job Title: Outsourced Services Accounting Manager
Location: Nairobi, Kenya

We are seeking an experienced Outsourced Services Accounting Manager for our client, a growing professional services firm offering Accounting, Payroll, Fund Management, Audit, and Advisory solutions.

Job Purpose:
The Outsourced Services Accounting Manager will be responsible for
leading and growing the Outsourced Business Services division. This role is ideal for a professional who combines strong technical expertise with leadership, client management, and commercial acumen.

Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of outsourced Accounting, Payroll, and Fund Management services
  • Manage and grow client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and retention
  • Review financial reports, payroll outputs, tax and statutory filings, and fund reports for accuracy and compliance
  • Provide clients with financial insights, advisory support, and business guidance
  • Drive business development through client expansion, referrals, and new opportunities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team
  • Ensure efficient processes, system utilization, and continuous improvement
  • Oversee compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA(K), ACCA or equivalent qualification (mandatory)
  • 6–8 years’ relevant experience in accounting, payroll, or outsourced services
  • At least 2–3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Proven experience managing multiple clients and service delivery
  • Strong knowledge of accounting systems, payroll platforms and tax/ statutory platforms
