The School Driver shall be responsible for safely transporting learners to and from school, educational trips, and other authorized activities, while upholding the highest standards of safety, punctuality, and professionalism. The driver shall also assist in identifying and reporting mechanical issues promptly and provide basic support in ensuring the vehicle is well-maintained and in good working condition.
Operate school buses or other designated vehicles in a safe and lawful manner in accordance with traffic regulations and school transport policies.
· Ensure the safety of all learners at all times, particularly when boarding and alighting from the vehicle.
· Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition.
· Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate authorities.
· Monitor learner behavior during transit to ensure adherence to safety protocols and the maintenance of a respectful and orderly environment.
· Strictly follow established pick-up and drop-off schedules.
Valid driving license with Class D1, D2, and D3. • Good organizational and time management skills.
