Job Title: Office Manager
Location: Nairobi
Purpose of Role
To achieve or exceed agreed targets of revenue generation, profitability and customer satisfaction through proper management and assessment of business opportunities in a manner consistent with the business plan.
CSF 1: Revenue Generation
To generate revenue to meet planned goals and acceptable return.
Key Tasks:
1.1 To effectively sell the products and services of the meeting rooms.
1.2 To effectively sell parking spaces within Blue violets plaza.
1.3 To monitor revenue quality and revenue growth and account by stream.
1.4 To monitor and improve productivity.
CSF 2: Revenue Generation Planning
To develop, communicate and monitor achievement of the revenue generation plan.
Key Tasks:
2.1 To develop sales promotion material (sales, marketing and financial).
2.2 To recognise and prioritise sales promotion activities that will lead to attainment of goals.
2.3 To review revenue streams and make necessary proposals for improvements.
2.4 To review results versus plan and take corrective action where necessary.
CSF 3: Revenue Protection
To ensure revenue quality maintained.
Key Tasks:
3.1 All revenue due to the company is collected in timely manner.
3.2 To have daily reconciliations of all receipts and banking.
3.3 To ensure continuous improvement in profitability per revenue stream.
3.4 To ensure commercial policies are understood and complied with by staff.
CSF 4: Customer Experience & Facility Management
Key Tasks:
4.1 Ensure meeting rooms are maintained in clean and orderly condition.
4.2 Ensure meeting rooms equipment is maintained in working condition.
4.3 Ensure customer experience is maximised.
4.4 Resolve customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.
4.5 Maintain a log of complaints/incidences/compliments and requisite corrective action.
CSF 5: Budgeting
Formulate / Monitor budgets.
Key Tasks:
5.1 To formulate budget by revenue and cost stream.
5.2 To formulate capital budget requirements.
5.3 To review budgetary performance and prepare requisite comparative reports to the Directors.
5.4 To propose corrective measures on budget variance.
CSF 6: People Management
To ensure that all employees maintain a consistent high standard of performance, consistent positive results and continuing improvement.
Key Tasks:
6.1 To select qualified employees to fill open positions.
6.2 To provide induction to employees.
6.3 To provide continuous training to employees including product and system training to all staff.
6.4 To establish objectives with employees and communicate performance expectations clearly.
6.5 To monitor performance and provide feedback through performance review and development appraisal.
6.6 To coach and counsel sales employees on professional selling techniques.
6.7 To agree and review a personal development plan for each employee
