The Teacher will be responsible for delivering learner-centered lessons in line with the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC). The role focuses on nurturing scientific curiosity, practical agricultural skills, healthy nutrition practices, and physical development among learners. The teacher will support holistic learner development through continuous assessment, talent nurturing, and active engagement in both classroom and outdoor learning activities.
SUBJECT COMBINATION( Science, Agriculture and Nutrition, and Physical Education (P.E.)
ØPlan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the CBC curriculum.
ØDevelop schemes of work, lesson plans, and learner-centered activities.
ØAssess learners continuously using CBC assessment tools and maintain accurate records.
ØSupport learners’ holistic development including talents, values, and life skills.
ØCreate a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
ØCommunicate effectively with parents/guardians on learner progress.
ØParticipate in school activities, staff meetings, and co-curricular programs.
ØDiploma in Primary Education (P1) from a recognized institution.
ØTSC registration (mandatory).
ØAt least 1 year and above teaching experience.
ØSound understanding and experience in implementing CBC.
ØAbility to apply learner-centered teaching approaches.
ØStrong classroom management and assessment skills.
ØGood communication and interpersonal skills.
ØHigh level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to learners’ development.
Strong knowledge of subject matter and curriculum standards. Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans. Familiarity with educational technology and digital learning tools.
