Job Title: Driver
Department: Operations Support Location: Mombasa County (Mobile)
Duration: 30 working days (6 weeks) Daily Rate: Ksh. 1,200
Position: 2 Start Date: Immediate
The Driver will provide essential transportation support, operating vehicles to transport leadership staff, equipment, and supplies to field locations. The Driver will ensure safe and timely movement of personnel and resources across in Mombasa County.
• Drive assigned vehicle (Pickup or SUV) safely and responsibly
• Transport leadership team, supervisors, and equipment to field zones
• Deliver supplies and replacement equipment to field teams as needed
• Maintain vehicle in clean and good working condition
• Conduct daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tires, lights)
• Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs promptly
• Maintain vehicle log book with accurate mileage and fuel records
• Assist with equipment loading/unloading when required
• Follow designated routes and schedules as directed by Operations Lead
• Ensure passenger and cargo safety at all times
• Valid Kenya driving license (Class BCE)
• Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience
• Clean driving record with no major violations
• Good knowledge of Mombasa County road network
• Experience driving 4x4 vehicles and pickups preferred
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
