We are in active pursuit of a talented, proactive and dedicated Human Resource Officer to join our client in the Education sector operating in Kiambu town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and policy implementation. They will ensure compliance with labour laws, maintain employee records, and support the management in fostering a positive work environment. They will also be responsible for benefits administration, training management and coordination.
1. Recruitment and Hiring: Managing the hiring process, from job postings to onboarding.
2. Employee Records: Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
3. Policy Implementation: Developing and enforcing school policies and procedures.
4. Staff Development: Organizing training programs and professional development opportunities.
5. Benefits Administration: Managing employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
6. Conflict Resolution: Addressing employee grievances and disciplinary issues.
1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Commerce or any other related field.
2. Proven experience as an HR Officer, Administrator, or a similar HR role.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources.
4. Strong knowledge of HR functions, including pay & benefits, recruitment, training, and development.
5. In-depth understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
6. Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with HR software is an added advantage.
