Job Title: Team Leader

Duration: 30 working days Daily Rate: Ksh. 1,500

Team Leaders directly supervise 5 DCOs each, guiding their team through assigned zones, ensuring collection targets of 400 records per team per day are met. They serve as working supervisors, collecting data alongside their team while providing guidance, quality checks, and immediate support.
• Lead a team of 5 DCOs in daily data collection activities
• Ensure team achieves daily target of 400 records (80 per DCO)
• Assign specific areas within zones to each DCO for systematic coverage
• Conduct first-level quality checks on team submissions before upload
• Provide on-the-spot training and guidance to DCOs
• Manage team equipment (smartphones, power banks, supplies)
• Report team progress to Zone Supervisor every 2 hours
• Resolve minor field issues and escalate complex problems
• Ensure team maintains professional conduct with business owners
• Participate actively in data collection (lead by example)
• Certificate or Diploma in any field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in field data collection or surveys
• Previous team leadership experience (formal or informal)
• Good knowledge of Mombasa County geography
• Proficiency with smartphones and mobile applications
• Fluent in English and Swahili
