Job Title: Sales Manager
Location: Syokimau, Kenya

Role Purpose:
Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and coordinate Sales and Marketing teams across retail, wholesale, online, B2B, collaborations, and product launches. This is a leadership role focused on structure, accountability, coordination, and performance oversight, rather than hands-on selling.

The ideal candidate is a strong people manager with excellent planning, follow-up, and reporting skills, able to keep multiple teams aligned and delivering results on time.

Job Description

  • Lead and coordinate Sales and Marketing teams through structured weekly planning and review meetings

  • Assign responsibilities, monitor timelines, and ensure accountability across teams

  • Align sales, marketing, design, and production schedules to support campaigns and product launches

  • Oversee sales performance across multiple channels through regular reporting and analysis

  • Identify performance gaps, operational challenges, and revenue risks, escalating issues as required

  • Monitor collaborations and product launches to ensure timelines, samples, marketing assets, and stock readiness

  • Oversee content and marketing execution, including content calendars, photo shoots, and website updates

  • Prepare and submit weekly performance and risk reports to senior management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field

  • Relevant professional training or certifications in sales or marketing are an advantage

  • Proven experience in a Sales Management or Commercial Leadership role

  • Strong team leadership, delegation, and accountability skills

  • Experience overseeing multi-channel sales operations

  • Strong planning, coordination, and reporting capabilities

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
