Position Scope

The HR Intern will support the HR department in critical elements such as recruitment, employee records management, attendance management, onboarding, and welfare management. The role offers an ideal opportunity for the intern to gain practical experience in HR practices while contributing to the smooth functioning of day-to-day operation

Job Description

  • Attendance management: coordinate reporting times and attendance of the workforce.
  • Support in the management of employee welfare through coordinating leaves and offdays.
  • Support in recruitment through scheduling of interviews for the vacant positions as guided.
  • Guide onboarding of new hires, by collecting needed documentation complaint to the outlined procedures.
  • Uphold safe and confidential maintenance of employee records, and follow ups to ensure they up to date.
  • Coordinate the timely and effective management of disciplinary issues reported within the workplace and ensure their resolution.
  • Ensure proper documentation of HR issues such as disciplinary meeting minutes and general meetings.
  • Make accurate and efficient communications on HR issues within the organization.
  • Help monitor compliance with labor laws and advise on improvement areas.
  • Assist in the coordination of trainings, briefings, and workplace inductions.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for site-level HR-related queries.

Requirements

 

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management.
  2. Solid understanding of HR fundamentals and outlines
  3.  IT proficient (proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
