Job Title: School Driver – Bus/Van
Job Purpose:
The School Driver shall be responsible for safely transporting learners to and from school, educational trips, and other authorized activities, while upholding the highest standards of safety, punctuality, and professionalism.
· Operate school buses or other designated vehicles in a safe and lawful manner in accordance with traffic regulations and school transport policies.
· Ensure the safety of all learners at all times, particularly when boarding and alighting from the vehicle.
· Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition.
· Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate authorities.
· Monitor learner behavior during transit to ensure adherence to safety protocols and the maintenance of a respectful and orderly environment.
· Strictly follow established pick-up and drop-off schedules.
· Valid driving license class B, C, C1, D1, D2 (van/ Nissan & min Buses category) and renewal Institution Driver licence.
· Minimum education level needed Certificate in any related field.
· Certificate of Good Conduct.
· Basic mechanical knowledge is an added advantage.
