Role Overview

We are looking for a Sales Intern to support the sales team and help drive growth and customer satisfaction. You will gain hands‑on experience in retail sales, customer engagement, product knowledge, and online/offline sales operations in a specialty retail context.

Job Description

• Assist in engaging with walk‑in customers and online enquiries to understand their needs and suggest products.
• Help with the product display / visual merchandising (arranging antiques, furniture, decor items) to improve appeal.
• Assist with maintaining and updating the online catalogue (website/shop), ensuring product photos, descriptions, and prices are accurate.
• Support the sales team with quotes, invoicing, order follow‑ups, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Conduct product and market research
• Track and report sales performance metrics (e.g. number of enquiries, conversions, daily sales).
• Help plan or participate in promotional activities or sales events (online promotions, in‑store special offers).
• Perform basic administrative tasks (updating stock, coordinate deliveries, handling phone/email queries).

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing, Retail Management or related field.
• Good verbal & written communication skills.
• Interest in antiques, décor, furniture or home goods is a plus.
• Comfortable dealing with customers, responsive and polite.
• Basic computer skills: MS Office / Google Suite.
• Good attention to detail.
