Job Title: Sales Representative - Medical Devices and Healthcare Products

Location: Nairobi & Kisumu

Role Summary

We are seeking a proactive Sales Representative to drive adoption and sales of healthcare products across clinical, institutional, and pharmacy markets. The role involves engaging healthcare professionals, educating them on product advantages, and building long-term relationships to achieve and exceed sales targets.

 

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities with hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and pharmacies.
  • Present and demonstrate healthcare products effectively.
  • Conduct in-depth product presentations, highlighting safety, quality, and regulatory advantages.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare decision-makers.
  • Negotiate pricing, manage contracts, and close deals.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, prepare reports, and provide timely market feedback.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and logistics teams.
  • Represent the organization at trade shows, medical conferences, and industry workshops.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.
  • 2–5+ years of proven experience in healthcare or medical device sales.
  • Knowledge of healthcare systems and clinical workflows.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and flexible; able to travel frequently
