Job Title: Business Development Executive - HR Software

Location: Nairobi, Kenya (with potential regional travel)

Role Purpose:
To drive new business acquisition and growth for XoraHR by identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities, expanding our client base among corporate organizations across Africa, and managing the sales pipeline to achieve set revenue targets.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and engage new business opportunities within target markets, including SMEs and large organizations.
  • Present and demonstrate XoraHR’s HR software solutions to potential clients, clearly articulating value propositions.
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold outreach, events, and partnerships.
  • Develop and deliver proposals, quotations, and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups, negotiations, and closure of deals to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with HR professionals, department heads, and C-suite decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with the customer success and implementation teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.
  • Track market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies and identify opportunities for product positioning.
  • Prepare regular sales activity and pipeline reports for management review.
  • Represent XoraHR in HR and industry events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

Requirements

Key Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in HR software, SaaS, HR consulting, or technology solutions targeting HR and corporate clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets in a commission-based environment.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand client needs and align solutions effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools for sales tracking and reporting.
  • Tech-savvy, with a clear understanding of HR processes and digital HR transformation needs in organizations.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Academic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, HR, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications in sales, digital marketing, or customer relationship management are an added advantage.
