Position Scope

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Reeds Africa Limited's Uganda Office, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by identifying and creating new business opportunities. Your responsibilities will include prospecting potential clients, qualifying leads, and fostering relationships to expand our market presence in Uganda. By working closely with our sales and marketing teams, you will help propel Reeds Africa Limited's mission to deliver exceptional solutions across the region.

Job Description

Prospecting: Identify potential clients and generate new leads.

Outreach: Engage with prospects via cold calls, emails, and social media.

Qualification: Assess the needs and fit of potential clients through discovery calls.

Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress in the CRM system.

Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align on strategies and follow up on leads.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or other related field

• Four (4) years’ experience in an insurance or other financial services organization

 • Supervisory skills

 • Excellent interpersonal relations and communication skills.

• Good selling and deal closing skills.

• Computer literate in MS Office and other office applications

• Understanding of the working environment /competitors.
