Position Scope

Our partner, a key Global Industry player in the automotive industry, is looking for a Senior Accountant. They are a results-driven and people-centric organization,  and a market leader famous for their reputable service offerings. This includes manufacturing, assembly, distribution, and after-sales of different types of vehicles including commercial vehicles. The Senior Accountant will handle all Banks, AP, Assets, and Work under process functions including all business activities of planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

Job Description

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting transactions including maintaining the General Ledger and accrual & costings.
  • Maintain Accounting Master files: Chart of Accounts, Cost & profit centers. AP & Assets modules.
  • Allocating all expenses to its proper accounts along with its cost center.
  • Prepare budget forecasts & Budget analysis (Compare monthly Budgeted income and expense vs Actual figures).
  • Manage all accounting operations including A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, and Assets Accounting.
  • Oversight of Monthly closing, reporting cycle, and closing for all Oracle Responsibilities.
  • Ensure that all tax requirements are being fulfilled.
  • Inspect account books, statements, ledgers, and accounting systems for efficiency and use of accepted accounting procedures.
  • Examine financial statements to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable standards and regulation
  • Monitoring all the fixed assets allocating all fixed assets to its business unit & Preparing monthly depreciation.
  • Handling relationships with Banks and preparing the monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with the internal & external auditors to provide the relevant documents ensuring that all queries are accurately advised.
  • Providing an external interface with financial instructions, consultants, and service providers.

Requirements

Requirements: 

  • Minimum 7 years of experience
  • Certified Public Account (K) or ACCA and Bachelor’s Degree in Accounts, Finance, or relevant degree.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and IFRS
  • Good knowledge of MS Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables, Word, Power Point, and outlook.
  • ERP Financial experience,Oracle (Must have)
  • Experience with general ledger

  • Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills
